Our visit to the museum was an amazing experience. We learned of Artists that were from Macon, Georgia. We all learned so much history about Harriet Tubman and others from her era. We also were in awe to see that Tyler Perry had his own room filled with his memorabilia and lifetime accomplishments. All three (3) of us said the trip was worthwhile and we would definitely return again to spend more time to read and learn more of the history of Harriet and others that were there in the museum. I think everyone should visit there, to have the joyous experiences and memories as well that we captured. The staff was very helpful and explained everything that we had questions about regarding the museum.
I was so impressed! This place is beautiful! The history and the art is really good and so original.
I love all of the crafts and art work. Harriet Tubman craft is so amazing. I loved that entire room. Walking through the place was an amazing experience.

Conni and I had a great day at the Tubman Museum!! The staff was incredible!! Explained everything that was on exhibit, and informed us of other places to go while spending time in downtown Macon.
Highly recommend this Museum!! So moving, and inspirational...
This was a great quick trip away from Atlanta. Short drive and good views. The museum was clean, the attendant was informative and nice. The exhibits were moving and well organized. I would recommend to all to go. The Tyler Perry exhibit was amazing as well.
I didn't know that this place existed, and I was invited to go. Let me tell you this place is phenomenal, and I do recommend it to everyone. If you have children, take them and tell them about this great person who helped to free many, many slaves. It will be a learning g experience for everyone.
Very unique experience. Great host and exhibits. I'm glad I stopped and checked it out.
This was my first time visiting the museum and I truly enjoyed it. The tour guide, sorry I can’t remember his name, was professional and informative. I will certainly visit again and bring family members with me.
Much worth the visit. Provocative photos of real and cruel scenes during the slavery period. Viewer discretion advise.
"From Africa to America" gallery exhibit, by Wilfred Stroud, is also worthy the visit. Ms. Harriet Tubman was an extraordinarily strong woman.
